We decided to have our lunch to decide what to do, but after placing our order with an annoyed-looking staff member, and not a peep after another 45 minutes, we got up and walked out. No apology made, no real effort to make us comfortable, no tour of available facilities ( we had to ask) and - importantly - no meaningful alternatives offered. Nobody had called, and nobody seemed concerned about this inconvenience. We were received with a definite lukewarm reception, and after changing I was told we couldn't have the treatment I'd booked because of load shedding, i.e. The spa is pretty but that's all, and it's not that clean. I was truly surprised at the poor service we received at this Spa, based on the excellent reviews here and referrals I received.
